TASKS

• Compilation of business plans for the Mine and performance monitoring
• Effective technical consultancy services to the Mine and Department to support the achievement of plans
• Good employee relations
• Effective administration of necessary Mine technical systems

COMPETENCIES

• At least 10 year’s experience in Mining Production environment
• At least 5 year’s management experience in a Mining Production environment
• Prior Experience in a Section 3.1 (a) Appointment
• Understanding of disciplines – Geology, Survey & Evaluation, Rock Engineering, Mining and Mine planning, Mine Ventilation, Mine Safety and Project Valuation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competence
• BSc Mining Engineering/B.Tech Mining/NHD Mining or NHD in Metalliferous Mining
